With 25 years experience, Chris Broadbent has worked in media and events for his entire career. In his previous role as a director on the main board of Vitesse Media Plc., Chris has personally launched over one hundred events, including exhibitions, awards and conferences. As well as co-founder of The Event Works, Chris is also Chairman and CEO of The Internet Works which specialises in Digital Ad Sales, SEO, Software Design, and Social Media.
Kim has a wealth of accountancy, tax and commercial experience having worked across a range of sectors in both practice and industry. He is FCCA qualified and his passion focuses on SMEs with a high growth strategy and international ambitions. Through financial and non-financial policy, process and procedures Kim will help ensure that the appropriate controls are in place to support The Event Works’ growth aspirations.
Rachel is the newest member of The Event Works’ team. Rachel’s background is in the children’s charity sector, managing recruitment events. As Event Assistant here at TEW Rachel splits her time between project managing exhibitions & awards across the UK for our existing client base, handling operations at client events and, researching and sourcing new venues and suppliers.
Kirsty Macgregor is a key member of The Event Works team. As well as having a background in digital marketing, Kirsty focuses on Startups.co.uk and arranges the company’s prestigious awards events, the Startups Awards, as well as other events like Young Guns. The 12th Startups Awards, which will be project managed by Kirsty, will be held in the Great Halls at Vinopolis.
